Comfort Zone soothes sore muscles and joints, helps relieve inflammation and accelerates the healing process. Rejuvenates tired muscles before, during and after exercise, and assists in muscle recovery. Can be used on bruising, swelling, pulled muscles, sprains and strains.
Positive results have also been noted when used on aching feet, insect bites/stings, mild burns/sunburn, headaches/migraines (when massaged into the temples), and as a chest rub for coughs and colds.
Made with our special blend of herbs, including organically grown Harakeke (Phormium tenax) – a native New Zealand plant, well known for its broad and powerful healing properties.
- Potency: Standard Strength for low to mid level muscle and joint pain. NB; for more persistent and/or higher pain levels, use Comfort Zone Xtra Strength formulations.
- Sensation: varies based on individual. Can be experienced as a cold or hot skin sensation, which intensifies when pores are open. e.g. following exercise, hot bath or shower.
- Application: use topically and massage into skin. Apply liberally and as often as desired.

How it all began
Comfort Zone was originally created as a product for high performance horses and race horses in the early 2000's, because at the time, there was a real lack of natural, yet effective products for horses. After many hours spent researching and sourcing natural healing ingredients, Equality Products began experimenting in a garage at home. The formulation was developed to assist racehorses and performance horses to recover from muscle soreness and injury, particularly following competition.
Comfort Zone was tested for efficacy on both family and friends. Following repeated requests for “that stuff for the horses’, Comfort Zone was created for humans in 2003.
In late 2014, a high-potency, herbal formulation called 'X-ZONE' was launched to assist with muscle performance, support and recovery for both professional and amateur athletes.

Q: I have sensitive skin, can I use your products?
A: We have been selling ComfortZone for over 10 years and have found it to be particularly suitable for people with sensitive skin. However, for new users, we recommend they test our products on a small area of skin first - if discomfort or irritation occurs, wash with warm, soapy water and discontinue use.
Q: How do I use ComfortZone and X-ZONE products?
A: For best results, ComfortZone and X-ZONE products should be applied liberally and massaged into muscles, ligaments or tendons that require pain relief assistance or performance support. All our products are topical - for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, broken skin and sensitive areas of the body.
Q: How often should I use ComfortZone or X-ZONE?
A: ComfortZone and X-ZONE can be applied as often as required. Generally, we suggest applying our products every 2 hours during times when high levels of support are required. If pain or discomfort persists, we recommend you visit your healthcare practitioner.
Q: How strong are ComfortZone and X-Zone products?
A: ComfortZone products are either Standard Strength or Xtra Strength. For low to mid level aches and discomfort we recommend our Standard Strength products, and for more persistent or higher pain levels use Xtra Strength formulations. Generally, we suggest first time customers try our Standard Strength formulations, as some people also find these very strong. Our standard potency products include Standard Strength Gel pots/tubes and Sprays, while high potency products include Xtra Strength pots/tubes and Roll On. Our X-ZONE Gel and Roll On are high strength/high potency formulations.
